This isn't going to come as much of a surprise to anyone...my new band of the year prediction is Meursault. OK not particularly new, but the next album is going HUGE...maybe 1500 copies sold.

    Ah, the bands to watch out for in 2012 thread, there's a good place to start.

    Silversun Pickups will conquer the world with their new album. Brian Aubert has more talent saved in a jar at home than most lead rock singers/guitarists/songwriters have ever displayed on stage or on record.

    New band of the year prediction: Drowner (have a guess what they sound like).
